This is some work that I’ve been carrying out in Wigan this last week on an industrial site. Rats have gnawed through the shuttering board left in by the builders on a large industrial building which contains Pet food. They have been getting in to the food, which has made the job extremely difficult to get the rats to feed off the poison.
But with the help of the on site staff, we have managed to concrete them out of the main building, then used carefully placed glue boards to catch the rats trapped inside. Then I have used a contact foam in the hole in side the cavity to get to the rest of the rats.
As you can see from the two pictures, the hole they had made to get into the cavity from outside and the void they were using to travel around the building between the brickwork, underneath the steel work.
